LET GO AND LET GOD

(Read the previous devotion here.)

Exodus 19:9-15

In this scripture passage, Moses realized God was with him, and as such, he followed Him obediently. Even though he thought he was not prepared, he let go of his doubts and let God do the rest.

Has God’s grace ever overwhelmed you these days? We know who we are, what we’ve done, and how sometimes we fill undeserving for so many things. Who are we that God would choose us to love him?

God chooses his own. God has chosen to redeem and rescue us through a relationship with Christ Jesus. And it is in Christ’s life, death, and resurrection that His infinite mercy lives. Trust grows from actions, and Christ fulfilled all the actions needed to build our trust towards God.

In our daily lives, worry often comes from trying to control things we don’t really have control over. And we all know how life is; we have to let go of so many worldly distractions to listen to His voice.

Trusting God and letting go becomes much easier when we believe he cares about us. Every single moment of our lives. The same way that His Son knew it in his heart.

God has a great plan for each of us, always for our good and His glory. Start letting go. And start letting God into your heart.

PRAYER

Lord, give me the wisdom to see the difference between other gods and You. These worldly gods take my eyes from you and slowly guide me to death and not to life. I must remember that anything that comes between Your Love and me is an idol. Lord, I want to serve you more than anything this world has to offer. Amen.
